Hi, I’m Lisa.
I study grief and hope, and I’m interested in the hidden stories that make us human.
I’m an ICF-trained coach, Certified Grief Educator, artist, writer, and community-maker. For more than 25 years, I’ve created work centered around connection, creativity, care, community, and making space for people to be fully human together.
I’m also a widow.
Losing my husband Hugo changed the way I understand grief, love, faith, joy, and what it means to care for another person.
And it deepened something I’d already believed for a long time:
We need places where we can be fully human.
In my work, I listen closely, ask good questions, and make room for whatever is actually here. I also love helping people find more joy, connection, creativity, community, and possibility in their lives.
You can come to me with a big, dreamy project you want to bring into the world, a life you’re ready to shape, or a story you simply need someone to hear. I won’t rush you toward an answer or tell you who you should be.
I’m here to help you feel seen, supported, and more able to trust what you already know about yourself.
My Approach
You get to be who you are.
You get to hold, make, care for, and honor what’s yours. To grieve and to dance, to rest and create. To celebrate. To ask big questions and imagine new possibilities.
Life can be…
messy, gorgeous, wild, tender, and hard—and I’m here for all of it.
My approach begins with curiosity and a deep respect for your own way of being in the world.
What feels like you? What really matters to you? What do you need to thrive?
I don’t believe the choices we’re handed are always the only options. If something doesn’t fit, we can get curious. We can look for another door. And if there isn’t one . . . well, sometimes we have to bash a hole in the wall and build one ourselves.
I’ll help you get clear on what matters to you, explore possibilities you haven’t considered, and figure out what kind of support will move you toward what you want.
That might mean making something new, changing direction, asking for more help, slowing down, taking a risk, or giving yourself permission to want something different in the first place.
I believe we can make magic, build beautiful communities, and create things that matter without losing ourselves in the process. Taking excellent care of ourselves can be part of the work, too.
Bring your whole heart. The kind of work I want to do with you is work that feels deeply yours, supports the life you actually want to live, and leaves you space to be fully human while you build it.
